Great for: Accessories and garments, next-to-skin wear, cables, textured stitches, colorwork, anything where warmth and comfort are a factor!
As with all artisan hand dyed yarns, be sure to order enough to complete your project as each bag is a different dye lot, and on some colors skeins may vary from bag to bag. The skeins may vary one from the other even within the same bag. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.

What is Superwash yarn?
Superwash wool yarn is specially processed to make it machine washable wool that won't felt in the wash. However, don't push it—you still want to handle with care, washing gently in cold water and drying flat, not in a dryer. Superwash may also stretch a bit more than other wool yarns so take care if and when hanging; in fact this stretchiness makes it ideal for blocking. Also don't worry—superwash is not toxic—any processing effects are neutralized when it cones to you. FYI superwash fibers do not hold air the same way so are not as warm as untreated wool, making it ideal for spring/fall garments. Superwash tends to feel smoother than untreated wools making it seem less "itchy" to some sensitive wearers.
