Dos Tierras, meaning "Two Lands" in Spanish, is the result of combining fibers from Uruguay — where Malabrigo was born and our Merino is sourced — and Peru, where they are currently dyeing. This duality is also reflected in the yarn itself: a blend of 50% fine Uruguayan Merino wool and 50% baby alpaca from Peru. The result is a versatile DK-weight yarn that combines the best qualities of both fibers—softness, drape, and durability.
