Shibui Knits is based in Portland, Oregon, a city that is internationally famous for creativity and the arts. 'Shibui' means "elegant with a touch of bitterness" in Japanese, and Shibui succeeds in bringing try to bring that sentiment to all of our products.

Constantly searching for unique fiber and texture combinations Shibui lends a unique eye to classic fibers. Their current selection of yarns are spun from the finest fibers available, then dyed in their special color palette. The result is a breadth of both color and texture, creating yarns that are both beautiful to look at and luxurious to touch.
