If you happen to be working with super chunky or bulky yarn like our Alpaca or Merino Yarn BUMPSor our fabulous Pixie Dust Yarn, or if you want to work with a lighter weight yarn but have the final project open and lacey, you'll need to work with one of our fabulous super chunky needles or jumbo crochet hooks.

For larger projects, like blankets, we recommend the Knitters Pride Jumbo Basix: they are light and easy to hold on your lap and their fabulous pointy tips let you keep control of your yarn!

If you're table knitting (working your project on a table, with larger straight needles) you'll need our Big Stitch Jumbo Needles. They are extra long (24-36") and can help keep you project even and flat as you work on the table.
