An easy slipped stitch pattern gives this simple set a Fair Isle look, and it all knits up in a flash.

Experience Level: Advanced Beginner

Materials: Striped Hat and Mittens: 3 hanks MC, 1 hank CC; Scarf: 4 hanks MC. Use a Bulky yarn like Blue Sky Bulky, Crazy Sexy Wool or Cascade Magnum

Needles: Size 15 (10mm) needles needles, or size needed to obtain gauge + Size 15 (10mm) double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

Tools: Stitch markers + Stitch holders or waste yarn + Tapestry needle

Sizes: S (M, L) Instructions are given for the smallest size, with larger sizes in parentheses. When one number is given it applies to all sizes.

Finished Size: Hat: Circumference: 16½ (19, 21½)”
Mittens: Length: 9½ (10, 10½)” / Width: 7 (8, 9)”
Scarf: 5½ x 67½”

Gauge: In St st, 9½ sts and 14 rnds = 4"
