This yarn may have the word LIGHT in it's name, but in terms of impact, it's anything but. Similar to Artyarns very popular Silk Rhapsody but in a lighter weight, this fluffy and fantastic yarn is almost frothy, with TONS of yardage, it is great for one-skein shawls and wraps, like the Boleyn Shawl Knitting Pattern & Kit or as an alternate for the Taj Mahal Shawl! Combine two for larger or less lacy projects. This yarn is also available in a glitter version, Silk Rhapsody Glitter.

FIBER: 85% Silk/15% Mohair

LENGTH: 80 grams 366 meters/400 Yards

GAUGE: Official Gauge: 5 Stitches per inch on #US6 Needle. It may be used on smaller needles as a fingering weight for a tighter gauge, or on much larger needles for an openwork, lacey look.
